In the Obstetrics and Gynecology department, necessary pre-pregnancy examinations are done and information is provided. The pregnancy process is followed carefully and in detail, and the health of the mother and baby is given meticulous attention. Information is given about what needs to be done about childbirth for the continuation of healthy generations, precautions are taken and intervention is made if necessary. In addition, topics such as the prevention of risks that may develop with consanguineous marriages, screening for genetic disorders, and chromosome analysis are also included in this section. The services provided in this context can be summarized as follows:* Pre-pregnancy consultation, information and examination,
* Examination of maternal health control and necessary laboratory tests,
* Detection of pregnancy from the 5th week with abdominal and/or transvaginal ultrasound and close follow-up of the development process,
* Ultrasonographic fetal anomaly scan to detect familial disabilities or congenital problems in babies,
* Pregnancy diet, double, triple and quad screening tests, genetic tests, amniocentesis,
* High-risk pregnancy monitoring of the mother-to-be who is determined to have a problem as a result of the tests performed,
* Providing supportive services to the expectant mother in matters such as mental, and physical health, nutrition and preparing for birth,
* Monitoring the baby's heartbeat and detecting the well-being of the baby with a fetal monitor device (NST) in the following weeks of pregnancy,
* Care of the baby from birth by the newborn specialist team,
* Determination of the appropriate contraceptive method after birth,
* Determining the causes of infertility.
