Labiaplasty
Labiaplasty surgery is defined as an operation to reduce the size and aesthetically correct the inner lips that are enlarged, elongated, darkened, sagging or irregular due mostly to congenital reasons or due to the effects of puberty. Sometimes it can be done because one lip part is longer or in a different shape than the other, which is called labial asymmetry. Such surgeries are among the modern gynecological aesthetic operations and are performed by private centers in many countries, especially in the USA and European countries, for both functional and cosmetic reasons. The number of labiaplasty surgeries is increasing at an average rate of 20% every year around the world.
