They do not require much tooth shaping.
Long-lasting e-max veneers are made from ultra-durable pressed ceramic porcelain. They are more likely to last longer than other alternatives on the market.
A more sturdy bonding of the veneers to teeth.
Shorter treatment time. The entire treatment can be completed in six days.
In the first session, the tooth surface will be prepared so that the porcelain laminates can be placed later. The measurement is taken by removing enamel tissue with a thickness of about 0.3 to 1 mm from the front surface of the tooth. Based on this measure, laminate veneers will be made in color and form suitable for the patient to complete the smile, and they will be adhered to the tooth with special adhesives in the appropriate color.
Those who have discoloration problems in the front teeth,
Those who have crooked, irregular, curved teeth,
For those with spaced teeth,
Big and old fillings with color problems,
For those with broken and worn teeth,
Discoloration that cannot be treated with tooth whitening due to antibiotics and excessive fluoride use,
It can be applied to patients who are not aesthetically satisfied with their teeth.
E-max laminate veneer application is a very sensitive technique. It requires good clinical and laboratory work. Dentists must have a great deal of technical knowledge and visual skills in this regard. They are long-lasting if they are made with accurate technique and appropriate equipment. Their care is not much different from natural teeth. With good enough oral care and correct use, they can be used for 15 to 20 years without any problems.
Porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns can be used as a single tooth or as a dental bridge. The metal alloy in the substructure of the tooth formation is highly durable, but the light transmittance is low. These dental crowns are stronger and more durable and are often used for posterior teeth (molars) that are exposed to pressure during chewing. Porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns are frequently used with implants.
However, porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns are not often used for anterior teeth, as they do not transmit light effectively. When designing a new smile for our patients, for these anterior teeth, we recommend coatings with higher permeability and a more natural appearance, such as zirconium.
The zirconium crown is the most popular type of dental veneer today. Zirconium is a kind of special ceramic. This material gives teeth a more natural look if you compare them with metal dental crowns. Zirconium also prevents the formation of black shadows thanks to its light transmission feature. So you can have completely natural-looking teeth. Some people may be allergic to metals. Zirconium can help patients who are allergic to all kinds of metals. In addition, zirconium crowns are more resistant to cold and hot sensations.
In your first session, some of your natural tooth structure will be reshaped to accommodate the new dental crowns. On the second day, temporary crowns will be worn while custom porcelain-fused-to-metal or zirconium crowns are made in our laboratories. On the fourth day, when the new crowns are ready, the temporary ones will be removed. Finally, the new porcelain-fused-to-metal or zirconium crowns will be placed in the mouth. We do the control sessions two days after the dental crowns are placed in the mouth. The treatment period for dental crowns is usually six days.
Dental crowns can last about 15 to 20 years with proper use and good care. However, changes in the oral structure in advancing ages may require an intervention or replacement of the zirconium or porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns. The lifespan of a crown depends on the care and attention you give to all your teeth. A good dental hygiene routine and regular checkups are recommended. Remember that since your natural tooth has a crown, it is still susceptible to gum disease, so be sure to take good care of your entire mouth.
When the crown is removed, the patient will not feel any discomfort and there will be no loss of the underlying natural tooth tissue.
Teeth whitening falls under the branch of dentistry. It should only be performed on a dentist's prescription by a dentist, a dental hygienist, or a dental therapist according to legal regulations. Some beauty salons offer teeth whitening; however, this is illegal and can put your oral health at risk.
Laser whitening, also known as bedside whitening, is a type of teeth whitening method that the dentist can provide. Your teeth are painted with a whitening product, a protective gel or rubber shield is applied to protect your gums, and then the laser is applied to them to activate the whitening. Laser whitening takes about an hour.
