Lumbar spinal stenosis (Lumbar Narrow Canal) 

Lumbar spinal stenosis is the congenital or secondary narrowing of the lumbar spinal canal due to facet joint hypertrophy. In neurogenic claudication, symptoms and signs such as pain along the nerve trace, loss of sensation and muscle weakness appear after the patient has been walking or standing for a while. Symptoms are relieved by sitting or lying down, arterial pulses are normal. Unlike disc herniation, sciatic nerve stretching tests are negative.
