Myopia
The person sees near objects clearly and distant objects blurred, and the anterior-posterior length of the eye is greater than normal or the curvature of the cornea is too steep. The image is focused in front of the yellow dot. Myopia usually begins at the age of 8-12. It can progress rapidly in adolescence. Correction is made with glasses and contact lenses.
