Cataract
Cataract is the loss of transparency that develops in the lens of the eye. It causes foggy and blurred vision. The incidence rate increases for people over 55 years of age. Although there is no sure way to prevent it, ultraviolet rays and smoking are thought to accelerate the development of cataracts. Cataract seriously impairs vision in the late stages.
